Strolling along

A strange sight greeted me this morning in the mirror. My smoky grey eyes changed to a pale pink. I must have made some sort of sound, for before I knew it, Master Faust came running into my room. I was crying, my grey eyes are a family trait and a source of pride for me. Master Faust was overjoyed. He says that a change of eye colour is a normal part of becoming a magician, and shows that my magic is developing. He says it is a good sign that my body is becoming a better holder of  magic. He showed me his own eyes, those dark red eyes of his, and said that his eyes were once dark brown, like coffee.  It scares me, if my eyes are changing, then what else shall change with this magic?
