A very personal question(Photostory)
I wanted to know what gender Fleur likes, so I can enter her in PerfectMatch on DoA. So, of course, being myself I just walked up and asked. The following photostory explains what happened.
Me: Fleur, can ask you something?
Fleur: You can ask anything. Fire away.
Me: What's your orientation?
Fleur: What are talking about? I'm not a compass.
Me: Sorry, that was a bit unclear. I meant to say, what's your sexual orientation?
Fleur: .....
Me: What gender do you prefer, and all that stuff. That's what I mean.
Fleur: I know what you mean! But, it's so personal. You can't just ask someone out of the blue that sort of thing.
Me: Fleur, I know it's personal. I just want to know so you can meet some new friends through a match-making place I know of. That's all, Fleur. I didn't mean for you to be offended.
Fleur: Really? That's why?
Me: Of course that's why. What did you think I wanted to know for.
Fleur: I don't know. I was just scared you won't like me any more if you knew.
Me:Knew what? Are you ashamed about it?
Fleur: It's, well, everybody says that's, well, wrong.
Me: It's not wrong. And not everybody says things like that. Only hateful people would think that. Fleur, your my friend, I would never think badly of you.
Fleur:Promise you won't hate me because of this.
Me: Promise.
Fleur: Okay then.
Fleur: I like both.
Me: You mean, you're bi?
Fleur: Yes.
Me:Fleur, that's great!
Fleur: What?
Me: That means you do belong at The Curiosity Shop!
Fleur: Is that a compliment?
Me: Yes. You truly belong here.
Me: But since you're still a bit sore from me asking, I'll give whatever you want that I have.
Fleur: You will?
Me: Temporally, of course.
Fleur: Of course.
Me:So what do you want?
Fleur: Your water bottle.
Me: What?
Fleur: Really, that's what I want.
Me: Okay.
Fleur: It's cold comfort.
Me: Is that a metaphor or is it literal?
Fleur hugged the bottle until I needed it. See below.
Me: Fleur, I'm thirsty. I need the bottle back.
Fleur: No!
Fleur: No!
Me: *Pulls*
Fleur: Ah! I'm slipping!
Fleur: No, the bottle is going away!
